What are Eyelash Extensions?
Lash & Glow Eyelash Extensions are individual synthetic, faux mink and silk lashes. They are attached to your eyelashes individually & not to your skin. It is a very enhancing beauty service and you do NOT need to use mascara while wearing these Eyelash Extensions. It is a very meticulous and intense service that requires skill and precision. Once properly applied, these lashes are so natural looking it is difficult to tell even up close that you have extensions on. We offer 30 different unique lash options to customize your look. Our lashes offer 2 degrees of curl, 2 different thicknesses, and 8 different lengths. They are virtually weightless.

I heard Eyelash Extensions will damage my natural lashes.
If the technician is not properly trained and qualified, Eyelash Extensions could possibly damage your lashes–leaving you with ugly “bald spots.” The Eyelash Extension process is meticulous; your results depend first on the skill of your technician and, secondarily, the product used.

Some salons say they are certified, frequently they offer a wide array of other beauty services, the demands of which never allow them to truly specialize and become an expert in Eyelash Extensions.

How long do the Eyelashes last?
It is totally an individual process. The Lashes will stay on your lashes for your remaining natural lash life; A normal lash growth/shed cycle is 30-60 days. Most people shed natural lashes at a rate of 3-6 lashes, per day, per eye. We also grow a new lash to replace the one that fell out. These Lashes can stay on up to 30 days with proper care and forever with monthly maintenance. However, general after care will affect how long the lashes last.

How much does it cost?
For new clients: to start with a full eyelash extension set, typical qualified lash pros charge between $300 – $600. However, at Lash & Glow we offer different prices for different looks.  Not everyone wants or has the type of lash.

Do the False Eyelashes damage my natural Eyelashes?
No, not at all!—The adhesive dries very soft on lashes, allowing the lashes to stay flexible and bouncy just like your own lashes. The Eyelash Extensions will adhere to your natural lashes softly and comfortably while not damaging your natural lashes or causing the natural lashes to fall out. Please do NOT remove the Eyelash Extensions on your own.

Who wears eyelash extensions?
Women aged 16 to 88…especially valuable for busy moms, professional women, brides, mature women—any woman who wants to save time getting ready everyday & look enhanced everyday, all day. Women who don’t want to worry about mascara smears or clumps. Women who don’t want the hassle of eyelash curlers.

Can I wear mascara with my Eyelashes?
These Lashes naturally darken your lashes, your lashes will look vivid and mascara is NOT necessary. Rubbing directly on the lashes, or using mascara remover will weaken the bonding. This may also twist the extensions or make them fall out. We strongly recommend that you avoid wearing mascara, curling and rubbing your Eyes or pulling the Eyelash Extensions, however you may wear water-soluble mascara if desired.  Lash & Glow has 2 different mascaras you can use on your lashes.

Can the Eyelashes be removed?
Yes, at any time and for any reason. They can be easily removed by a Lash & Glow Stylest. Please do not attempt to remove any lashes on your own—you can damage your natural lashes this way. We’re happy to help you with removal at Lash & Glow.

What I should do before my Lash & Glow Eyelash Extension appointment?
1. Remove all eye makeup and clean your lashes with mild, oil free cleanser
2. Please don’t use oil based makeup removers to clean your lashes prior to the application.
3. Please don’t put on any mascara the day of your appointment; we’d rather spend our time working on perfecting your lashes.
4. Plan to set aside 2 to 3 hours for your full set appointment & 1 hour for your fill appointment. Many of our clients fall asleep during the procedure. They are always amazed when they wake up with gorgeous looking lashes.

After-Care — I got my lashes! What now?
Following these important after-care instructions will aid in extending the life of your lash extensions. The first 48 hours following your application are most crucial. Care must be taken not to rub your eyes, pull your lashes, or scratch. Also, any creams, eye makeup removers, lotions, or cleansers containing oils can loosen the bond of the lash extensions. Care must be taken to apply eye cream sparingly with avoidance of the lash line area. In the shower, you should avoid direct water spray on your extensions, do not allow use a steam bath, swim, or wash your face directly with hot water during your initial 48 hours of the application.

Do not use a lash curler
Do not rub your eyes or lashes when washing your face, gently clean around the Eyes with a wash cloth or fingers.
Do not pull on your lash extensions, it may take out your own natural lash as well.

What happens if a lash should loosen or become dislodged?
Do not pull on the lash; contact Lash & Glow to make an appointment to have them replaced. As your natural lashes fall out due to the growth cycle, you will need fills every 2- 3 weeks as your new lashes grow in. As your natural lashes become accustomed to the extensions and with a little practice maintaining the lashes, the time between refills can be extended.
