Meet Christie Bush – Founder of Lash & Glow
A proud native of the DFW area, Christie Bush began her career in the medical industry marketing and sales, where she spent seven years before deciding to follow her true passion—helping others feel confident and beautiful. In August of 2010, she took a leap of faith and enrolled in the Esthetology program at Ogle School.
It was there that Christie discovered her love for eyelash extensions. She began practicing on friends and family, who quickly became obsessed with their new look. As word spread and demand grew, Christie knew it was time to turn her passion into a business. In April 2011, she launched Lash & Glow, a boutique salon offering expert lash extensions and flawless spray tans.
What began as a solo venture has since grown into a thriving business, thanks to Christie’s vision, talent, and dedication to excellence. Lash & Glow is now home to a talented team of stylists who specialize in creating custom, beautiful looks for every client.
Driven by innovation and quality, Christie developed her own line of Lash & Glow products, including high-quality lashes and medical-grade adhesive—all made with safe, effective ingredients and designed to elevate beauty services to the next level.
Never one to stop evolving, Christie has also mastered the latest breakthrough in lash technology: LED UV light systems for lash extensions. This game-changing method, featuring American-made adhesive and curing lights, is now available to all Lash & Glow clients.

Misty Hassell | Sr. Lash Stylist
Misty was born and raised in fort worth. She is married and has two daughters. After attending the University of Texas in Arlington and studying Business Management she worked for several years in the Banking Industry. However this was not her passion! Seeking a career that would be more fulfilling, she decide to enroll at Ogle school of beauty and take course in Esthetology. She worked in Spas and also worked in the medical field providing skincare treatments for her clients.
After taking a Lash Extensions class in May 2007, Misty quickly learned that her passion to help women look and feel more beautiful had reached a new level.
Meygan Vessell | Salon Manager & Spray Tan Specialist
Meygan was born and raised in Fort Worth, TX. She went to Duvall's School of Cosmetology and has been a hairstylist for over 11 years. Meygan is also is in the fashion industry and works for a small clothing designer based out of Dallas. She enjoys all the aspects of being in the beauty industry by making people look and feel amazing. Meygan has a beautiful daughter and recently just got married and has expanded her family from 2 to 5.
Alyssa Alvarez | Receptionist/ Spray Tan Specialist
Alyssa Alvarez was born in Silver Spring, Maryland and currently resides in Keller, Texas for the past eight years. She is a junior at Keller high school and part of the Indianettes drill team. Alyssa has a sister that is a freshman at Keller high school and the cutest puppy in the world named DeNiro. Alyssa loves going to the lake in her free time and doing all things in the Sun! Alyssa Enjoys fashion and staying up on all the top trends.
Avery Bourland | Sr. Lash Stylist
Avery is a DFW metroplex native and currently resides in Keller. She is the second oldest and only girl out of 6 siblings. Avery has always enjoyed all things design, art, and fashion. She graduated from Glance Lash Academy in FTW and hit the ground running. For fun, she loves to spend time with her family, bargain shop, and watch her brothers play football. Avery is passionate about her faith, politics, and coffee. She loves to help women feel beautiful, loved, and cared for. She can’t wait to meet you!
Maggie Palmer | Receptionist/ Spray Tan Specialist
Maggie has spent her whole life Keller, Texas. She is a junior at Keller High School and has been on the Indianettes’s dance team since her freshman year. Maggie is the youngest of three and is the only one still in High School. She hopes to be enrolled in the cosmetology program at KCAL. Maggie’s interests include dance, fashion, shopping, and hanging out with friends!
Mackenzie Place | Sr. Lash Stylist
MacKenzie was born and raised in Fort Worth, TX. She has been a licensed Esthetician since 2022 and loves all things beauty. She quickly learned that Eyelash Extensions are her passion and loves making her clients look and feel beautiful! MacKenzie is a soon-to-be wife and has a Golden Retriever named Miller! Emaline Risser Receptionist/ Spray Tan Tech
Emaline was born in Norman, Oklahoma (boomer sooner!) and now resides in Southlake, Texas. As a senior at Carroll Senior High School, she proudly serves on the Varsity Dragon Cheer team. With four siblings spread across the country and three adorable pets at home, Emaline enjoys a busy and fulfilling life. When she’s not cheering, you can find her hanging out with friends, spending time at the lake, or catching a live concert. She has a passion for fashion, marketing, and all things social media.

Eva Machi is a talented Spray Tan Technician and a sophomore at Keller High School. As a proud member of the Indianettes dance team, Eva brings discipline, energy, and attention to detail to every appointment. Her passion for beauty and commitment to excellence ensure each client leaves with a flawless, confidence-boosting glow. When she’s not at school or work, Eva enjoys spending time with friends, traveling, and attending concerts.
Claudia Krukowsk | Lash Stylist
My name is Claudia. I was raised in Fort Worth, Texas, and living in this town is such a joy. I love to travel and am always looking for my next adventure, which usually includes antique stores, anywhere I can support a small business, concerts, rodeos, etc. I have a big place in my heart for the Western industry from the culture, animals, community, and especially the fashion. I have one fur baby that is the light of my life. His name is Spur, and he is the most beautiful healer pup I have ever seen. He always keeps me on my toes! I've always been a little extra and take pride in the way I dress and look, and it's been my creative outlet for as long as I can remember. My love for fashion, big hair, and glam makeup led me to cosmetology school at Paul Mitchell Arlington in 2022, and I have gotten to experience a little bit of everything being licensed has to offer. I have fallen in love with doing lashes and cannot wait to learn, grow, and meet as many beautiful faces as I can and help them feel and look their best!
